I have been busy painting, and delinquent in posting!  I was able in January to create a studio space in our home that has allowed me to bring out all the art supplies and play.  And I have had fun!

Painting for Sale

This is a pastel of Ebey Prairie, entitled Ebey Winter.  Ebey Prairie is a National Historic Preserve on Whidbey Island, Washington.  It rarely receives any snow, but when it does, the result is stunning.
This painting is available for $175 framed, $145 unframed and prints are available for $39.

1.  Cloudy Waters, pastel.      This painting is a scene from Whidbey Island, Washington.  It was painted in July of 2012.  It conveys a peaceful serenity seen in numerous locations on Whidbey Island.  It measures 15" by 18".  It is priced at $175 framed, $125 unframed and prints are available for $29.00.

2.  Hay Bales, pastel.   This painting is also a scene from Whidbey Island.  The farms on the island often have gorgeous views of mountains and Puget Sound.  This painting measures 24" by 20" framed.  It is priced at $195 framed, $145 unframed and prints are available for $29.00

3.  Penn Cove Reflection, pastel.    This painting was painted plein air on a bluff on Whidbey Island, Washington.  It is painted on velour paper which gives a softer look and more depth than traditional paper.   We may not get frequent sunny days on Whidbey Island, but when we do they are beautiful!  This painting measures 24" by 20" framed.  It is priced at $195 framed, $145 unframed, and prints are available at $29.00.

4.  Lavender Fields, origional oil.  Lavender is grown in many places in Western Washington.  This scene is a farm near the Olympic National Park.  The lavender lays in brilliant purple stripes in the fields.  Imagine the scent standing in the middle of the lavender.  This painting is sized 24" by 20" framed.  It is priced at $175 framed, $145 unframed and prints are available for $29.
